Appellation Area
Fragmented vineyard with parcels of old Clairette (1940). The entire vineyard is located on the Terrasse de Bellegarde (60 meters of altitude). Alternating rows of vines, cypresses, olives groves and apricot trees.
Soils
Pebbles which permit a perfect maturation and drainage. Clayey soil with high proportion of siliceous rocks.
Climate
Typical Mediterranean climate with a water deficit during summer (since two years) and high temperatures. Despite this, the variety Clairette is particulary well adapted and offers very good white wines: freshness and drinkable.
