Annual production

36,188 hl of which 23,471 carry the Pic Saint-Loup label.

There are huge differences between day and night time temperatures here, particularly when the grapes are ripening. As a result, the wines are sophisticated and concentrated.

Three chateaux are intrinsically linked with the region’s history : Viviourès, les Tours de Salles and Montferrand which had been owned by the Bishops of Maguelone, and was destroyed by Louis XIV during the Wars of Religion.

A tradition

On the first Sunday after March 19th, climb the Pic St Loup. Your reward : a glass of wine on the summit !
