Unique, the soils at Sable de Camargue produce high-quality wines. The ground is made up of rough mineral sands, brought in from the wind and the sea and devoid of chalk and silt.
These wine-producing grounds are surrounded by a unique countryside which is endowed zith exceptional flora and fauna.
Between the ponds, the Camargue plain, the costal plain of Petite Camargue, the lagoons, the reed beds, the dunes and the pine forests, the vines are immersed in a mythical landscape. This wild nature awards the Sable de Camargue a great richness and a real originality.
The climate combines the Mediterranean influences with the nearby hills, bringing a particular character to Sable de Camargue wines. Imbued with maritime character and in the very heart of wild nature, Sable de Camargue wines are distinguishable by the exceptional terroir in which they’re made.
In order to produce exceptional wines, the producers of Sable de Camargue use traditional, regional grape varieties, famous the country-over.
Grey, “Grey of Grey” and Rosé: our speciality, these make up 94% of our production. A grey wine marks a wine with an unusual shade.
Main varieties: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan Noir, Carignan Gris, Cinsault, Grenache Noir, Grenache Gris, Merlot, Syrah (70%). Other varieties: Aubun, Marselan, Tempranillo, as well as varieties for making white wines.

Main varieties: Chardonnay, Chenin, Clairette, Grenache, Marsanne, Muscat à petits grains, Muscat d’Alexandrie, Roussanne, Sauvignon, Ugni Blanc, Viognier (70%). Other varieties : Carignan Blanc, Colombard, Vermentino.
